Students, come 30 min. early, classes fill up at the Student Recreation and Wellness Center
Health administration student Ellie Ingram came 20 minutes before her spin class last week, but it was too late.
"Right at 30 minutes before class starts, people claim all the bikes and if you don't get there early, you won't be able to take the class" said Ingram.
Other classes are filling up fast as well. The Butts and guts class, a high intensity body sculpting class, is very popular and lines start forming close to 40 minutes before the class.
"I get here early so that I can get the equipment I need," said freshman psychology major, Emily Shultz, "if I want the lb. dumbbells, I make sure I'm here early."
Fitness coordinator, Maureen MacRae, says they are responding to this issue with more classes. "We are adding two "Fit Ball" classes, and another Butts and Guts classes. Also, we'll add another instructional class next semester for more advanced body sculpting," said MacRae.
